General Inquiries

  • What is freediving?

Freediving is diving underwater on a single breath, without the aid of external breathing devices. It's about technique, relaxation, and maximizing your body's natural abilities to explore the aquatic world silently and gracefully.

  • Who can freedive?

Anyone who is comfortable in the water, can swim confidently, and is generally healthy can learn to freedive. We cater to all levels, from complete beginners to experienced divers looking to refine their skills. A medical questionnaire is required for all participants.

  • What are the benefits of freediving?

Beyond exploring the ocean, freediving improves breath control, increases lung capacity, reduces stress, and fosters a deep sense of calm and mindfulness. It's a unique way to connect with both nature and your inner self.

  • What's the best time of year to freedive in Palolem?

The best season for freediving in Palolem is from October to May, when the weather is clear, the sea is calm, and underwater visibility is excellent. The monsoon season (June to September) is generally not suitable for diving due to rough seas.
